About the Company

Our client is a world-renowned provider of safety products, solutions, and services to the maritime industry. Their equipment supports safety on everything from large cruise and container ships to offshore platforms, ferries, fishing vessels, and luxury yachts. Safety is not just a priority — it is the very foundation of everything they do.

Their Global Finance Department includes over 80 professionals across Denmark and Bulgaria, and they operate with SAP as their primary ERP system. Due to the ongoing growth of their finance operations, they are looking to strengthen their team in Bulgaria with a dedicated Junior Accountant.

The Role

As a Junior Accountant, you will be part of the Global Business Services (GBS), Finance team based in Plovdiv and report directly to the Finance Manager. Your primary responsibilities will focus on vendor transaction accounting across global entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and review all invoices ensuring proper documentation and approvals
• Match purchase orders with invoices
• Set up new vendor accounts
• Prepare and execute company payments
• Handle daily bank statement accounting
• Reconcile vendor statements and intercompany accounts
• Assist in scanning and posting incoming invoices
• Support special projects and assignments as needed

Your Profile

While previous experience is not mandatory, you must have a strong foundation in accounting principles. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has recently graduated or is early in their accounting career.

Requirements:

• Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (high school or university degree)
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Familiarity with SAP is an advantage
• Fluent in English – both written and spoken
• Detail-oriented and structured with a proactive and positive mindset
• A team player who is eager to learn and grow professionally
