Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven President of Yacht Brokerage to lead and scale our yacht brokerage operations. This executive will be responsible for setting the vision, driving business development, overseeing a high-performing sales team, and expanding the company’s presence in multiple company-owned marinas throughout the Chesapeake. The ideal candidate has deep industry knowledge, a strong leadership track record, and a passion for the yachting lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set the overall strategy and vision for the yacht brokerage division
  • Lead expansion efforts across the Chesapeake region
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performance team of yacht brokers and support staff
  • Develop training programs, performance metrics, and compensation plans to drive sales excellence
  • Oversee all yacht listing and sales activities, ensuring revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Cultivate relationships with yacht owners, manufacturers, buyers, marinas, and industry stakeholders
  • Ensure operational efficiency across sales, documentation, legal, and closing processes
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and international maritime regulations and brokerage licensing standards
  • Oversee development of targeted marketing campaigns, boat show strategies, and digital initiatives
  • Represent the brand at industry events

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in yacht brokerage and/or new boat sales
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive innovation
  • Proven track record of leading sales teams and delivering revenue growth
  • Deep knowledge of the yachting industry, including vessel types, manufacturers, and market dynamics
  • Licensed yacht broker (or ability to obtain licensing where required)
  • Ability to travel to multiple marina locations throughout the Chesapeake Bay region

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Chesapeake Bay region and its brokerage industry
  • Experience with CRM systems, digital marketing strategies, and sales analytics
