In The Netherlands, a distinguished shipyard is searching for an Engineer with Structural Detail Design experience to join its elite team. About the Role

You’ll be part of a team in the technical execution of bespoke yacht construction projects. Working alongside some of the most skilled minds in the industry, you’ll contribute to the design, modeling, and production of their latest project that will define what’s next in luxury marine engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine detailed engineering designs, 3D models, and technical drawings
• Ensure compliance with Class and Flag regulations and internal specifications
• Conduct technical assessments for manufacturability and feasibility
• Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks with practical solutions
• Collaborate with senior engineers, production, and project teams to ensure timely and quality delivery

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Maritime Technology, or related fields
• 2+ years of engineering experience in shipbuilding
• Proficiency in 3D AutoCAD; familiarity with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and Cadmatic is a plus
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• A sharp eye for detail and a drive for technical excellence
• Sound knowledge of production and construction processes in a shipyard environment
• Experience with structural design, hull engineering, systems integration, FEM analysis, and budgeting
