Strategic Leadership
- Develop
and execute strategic plans to drive growth and profitability in yacht
operations.
- Set
organizational goals and KPIs aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Identify
and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
Operational Management
- Oversee
day-to-day yacht operations, including fleet management, logistics, crew
operations, and maintenance.
- Ensure
compliance with international maritime laws, safety regulations, and
industry standards (e.g., ISM, ISPS, MLC).
- Implement
operational best practices to optimize efficiency and client satisfaction.
Financial Oversight
- Manage
budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the operations division.
- Approve
large expenditures and monitor cost-efficiency across departments.
- Report
on financial and operational performance to stakeholders and board
members.
Team Leadership
- Lead,
mentor, and manage department heads and crew managers.
- Drive
a performance-based culture with high standards of professionalism and
accountability.
- Oversee
recruitment, training, and retention of high-caliber crew and operational
staff.
Client Relations & Charter Management
- Foster
and maintain strong relationships with yacht owners, charter clients,
brokers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure
that yacht owners’ expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Supervise
charter operations and ensure world-class guest experiences.
Regulatory & Safety Compliance
- Ensure
all yachts are compliant with maritime regulations and certifications.
- Oversee
safety protocols, audits, incident response, and continuous crew training.
Brand & Reputation Management
- Represent
the company at industry events, forums, and with regulatory authorities.
- Uphold
and elevate the brand’s reputation for excellence and professionalism.
Requirements
- Bachelor's
or Master's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Marine
Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum
10–15 years of experience in yacht management, maritime operations, or
luxury hospitality, including senior leadership roles.
- In-depth
understanding of maritime law, international regulations (IMO, SOLAS,
MARPOL), and yacht industry trends.
- Exceptional
leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong
financial literacy and experience managing large budgets.
- Willingness
to travel extensively and work across international time zones.
Fluent in English; additional languages
(Mandarin, French, Italian, or Spanish) are a plus.
