To develop and deliver high-quality destination
experiences for participants of the Oyster World Rally and other Oyster events.
The role is responsible for coordinating onshore activities and excursions that
enhance the overall Oyster experience, whilst also working with the rally and
event team to deliver a successful and enjoyable overall experience for
participants.
Key Job Responsibilities
Liaise,
coordinate, market and sell curated, culturally-rich destination experiences
for participants of the Oyster World Rally and other related events.
Vet
and liaise with external providers, ensuring delivery standards, safety, and
client expectations are met.
Act
as the primary contact for participants regarding shore-based experiences,
responding to queries and managing bookings through the customer relationship
management system (HubSpot).
Provide
timely, clear pre-arrival information to participants, including activity
briefs, logistical details, and destination insights.
Align
all shore-based experiences with the master rally / event schedule and ensure
cohesive planning with the wider events and logistics team.
Travel
in advance of the fleet when required to prepare and manage experience delivery
on the ground.
Collaborate
with internal teams to support experience planning for Explorers Club,
Bluewater Academy, events and Regattas.
Maintain
accurate records of bookings, client preferences, and feedback to support
continuous improvement and reporting.
Represent
Oyster to local tourism authorities, marinas, and vendors, maintaining strong
and professional relationships.
Build
an Oyster Destination Experience guide, to sit alongside our existing World
Rally Guide.
Requirements
Knowledge
Understanding
of international travel coordination and experience delivery, particularly in a
luxury or premium context
Knowledge
of client service standards and expectations for high-value clientele
Familiarity
with CRM platforms, ideally HubSpot
Skills
Strong
organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple
projects and deadlines
Clear,
professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Confidence
in liaising with third-party vendors and clients across different cultures and
time zones
Proficient
in digital tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project
tracking platforms
Experience
Experience
in event coordination, destination management, or travel planning
Previous
client-facing role, ideally within a luxury, travel, or marine-based industry
Experience
working independently in remote or international environments is beneficial
Qualifications
No specific formal qualifications required,
but relevant certifications in travel, tourism, or event management would be
advantageous
