About the Job

Following an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Director of Finance to join the Finance team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. This role is suitable for a results-driven finance leader who brings strong technical expertise and strategic thinking to support business performance, drive compliance and enhance internal controls.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Finance in all aspects of financial management, including strategic planning, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis to enhance performance, monitor KPIs, and support effective decision-making across departments.
  • Manage daily finance operations, including income auditing, accounts payable and receivable, banking, and general ledger reconciliation and working closely with Finance Centre of Excellence.
  • Establish and enforce strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • In the absence of DOF, act as a liaison between ownership and hotel management, providing clear, timely financial reporting and insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with department heads and the executive team to align financial strategies with business objectives.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years’ progressive finance experience in the hospitality industry, including at least 2 years in a senior finance role within the GCC.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems. High level of integrity, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with owners, executives, and operational leaders.
